How it's meant to work
Someone who's struggling taps a single symbol — no public post, no explaining yourself to anyone. That request reaches a vetted, trained KASEM carer, who calls to listen. Not to fix, not to diagnose. Just to be there for the time it takes.
No one should have to perform being okay, or justify needing to talk. KASEM Care is built around one idea: a person may simply need somebody to listen, and that should be easy to ask for.
What KASEM Care is not
KASEM Care is peer support from trained volunteers — it is not counselling, therapy, medical treatment, or an emergency service, and it will never replace them. KASEM is a clothing brand, not a healthcare provider; KASEM Care is designed to sit alongside professional services and point people toward them, never to substitute for them. If you're in immediate danger, KASEM Care will always point you straight to emergency and crisis services first.
Built properly, before it goes live
KASEM Care isn't switched on yet. Before real conversations happen on this platform, it needs safeguarding procedures, trained and vetted volunteers, privacy controls, clear escalation paths to professional services, moderation, and full GDPR compliance. What you see below is the interface and structure this system will use — not a live service.
